The Face Place has been in operation in Los Angeles since 1972 and on May 28, 2005 the Face Place opened an outpost in Manhattan, Sally Hershberger Face Place. We specialize in a unique clinical approach to skin care for both men and women. Our treatment is considered one of the original anti-aging treatments and still one of the most effective.

The Face Place treatment goes beyond the typical superficial surface cleansing of the skin to include:

• a deep, manual cleansing of all facial pores.
• the oxygenation of the facial tissues through increased blood circulation to the face.
• the rejuvenation and firming of facial tissues.

The ultimate objective is to help their clients improve their skin and maintain healthy, youthful skin.

One of the core segments of our treatment is the use of galvanic current which optimizes the penetration of key ingredients into the facial tissues. Our anti-aging solution is based on a combination of vitamin C and zinc. Vitamin C, which the Face Place has been using for over 30 years, helps to regenerate tissue, stimulate collagen production and it acts as an antioxidant. Zinc is an anti-inflammatory which calms the facial tissues. Your skin's clean youthful glow is the only evidence that you have just been through a rigorous detoxification process. The galvanic current also helps to tighten and firm the skin tissue, regenerate and stimulate the skin cells, tighten the pores, increase circulation to the face, stabilize the ph of the skin and soothe the nerve endings.

In order to achieve maximum results, we strongly recommend beginning your anti-aging program with a treatment once a week for the first four weeks followed by bimonthly appointments.
